The purpose of this project was a refurbishment of a commercial building. This was inclusive of strip out works, new solid and glazed partitions, new fire doors and glazed doors, new suspended ceilings, new flooring and decorations. Throughout the works we worked alongside other specialist contractors which meant that at times works were delayed due to a change in specification and their works not being completed within their individual programme.  There were also some delays on client decisions on glazed partitions and door types, but this just meant that the client was totally happy with the final product once works were completed.

Parias produced designs for installations within our package incorporating IPS/ cubicle design in the WC’s, doorsets and ironmongery, glazed partitions and door sets including two curved glazed examples.

• The client had a hard deadline for moving in to the area which was very tight. We worked hard with other nominated contractors to ensure good cohesion of installations to ensure that the programme could be accelerated/ that the ambitious end date could be met.
• The site team worked longer shifts, weekends and more to ensure that the deadline was achieved.
• The end client was in the security sector so provision had to be made throughout the build to ensure that their heightened requirements were adhered to.

• PCI delivered a full range of construction activities only – the M+E aspects of work were not within our package of works, however we did provide management and supervision to oversee the project as a whole.
• Key features were eye catching glazed partitions and doorsets, adventurous floor finishes and feature walls
