COMMERCIAL INTERIORS
With roots as a suspended ceiling and partitioning contractor, commercial and office refurbishment really is our most habitual sector. Working with a range of clients from small start-ups to multi-national blue chip corporations, our packages are tailor made to suit specific requirements.
From conception through to completion, we provide a one stop package producing contemporary workspaces that co-facilitate the facets of teamwork and self-actualisation simultaneously.
We understand the inconveniences of having building works done at your premises, which is why all of our staff are well trained and experienced at working in even the most difficult environments. Even if your desire is to maintain a live office during adaptive works, our teams strive to deliver minimal disruption.
Whether main contracting or sub-contracting, we operate with the big picture in mind.

What is included
Cost Management
At PCI Ltd we understand that alterations can happen during a project, however our estimates are as realistic as possible, and we guarantee that project value will only increase due to costed and instructed variations to the tender scope of works.
We will always look to advise clients on any product or install alterations that may save them money presently or reduce maintenance costs in the future.
For all of our projects we put together a document to ensure total transparency of order and variation costs to our clients. We have found that having a clear breakdown of any variations, a tracker to show which variations have been approved, and the total project spend including any instructed variations against the tender sum keeps our clients informed of the ongoing overall account value, removing the prospect of any dispute at the final account presentation.
Time Management
We will work closely with you to build and fulfil the needs of this project by the completion date. We will do this by establishing clear goals and a comprehensive solution based on the needs of our clients.
A key part of this process will be an initial pre start meeting, during this our team of experts will review any and all systems related to the project in order to determine any existing pain points and/or leverage opportunities. We will develop a list of all solution possibilities based on this initial consultation.
Before the project starts, we will issue a programme of works to all stakeholders (client, sub-contractors and surrounding occupants) using Microsoft Project to set realistic expectations as to how long it will take to carry out the project. This programme of works allows us to update all stakeholders on a fortnightly basis by using the progress lines to quickly identify where there may be issues that need to be addressed, optimizing the allocation of resources to tasks or activities to further acceleration. By sharing the programme with our clients, it demonstrates full confidence that the project is under control.
Along with Health and Safety documentation, we see this as one of the most important documents on site and therefore we copy and laminate this document in A3 and place these prominently around site, updating as required, for all stakeholders to refer to when needed.
Quality Management
At PCI Ltd we aim to coordinate and direct all our activities to meet the client and regulatory requirements and improve its effectiveness and efficiency on a continuous basis. We do this by performing Quality Install Audits on all aspects of the instructed works to ensure clients have peace of mind when it comes to the completed project. We also engage in 3rd party auditors, mainly from our accreditations such as BM TRADA and CIOB, to assess the works are of sound quality, fit for purpose and logged before being properly closed.
As we work towards completion of the project, we have a strict protocol in relation to reporting and issuing snag lists using a system of internal checks and balances. The project Coordinator, usually with 20% of the project remaining, will be responsible for putting together a ‘completion list’ along with the Quantity Surveyor to make all component parts aware, in writing, of what is expected of them.
We invite the client to be part of any subsequent snag surveys, which will then be persistently monitored and updated until the completion of all items, ready for a thorough clean and handover.
