Examples of this include installing more efficient heating sources and improved thermal efficiency through roofing and windows.
4. Waste Reduction: Through rigorous waste management practices, we strive to minimise waste generation and maximise recycling, reducing the burden on landfills. We monitor our waste by collecting data to see how much is recycled compared to being sent to landfill.
5. Renewable Energy Integration: PCI promotes the use of renewable energy sources in our projects, including air source heat pumps, energy- efficiency HVAC (Heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems and NVHR (Natural Vented Heat Recovery) units. NVHR units are unique in that the system work on a calculation of internal room temperature, external temperature and co2 levels. These recordings are monitored from various sensors set in positions on the system. This data is received by a main monitoring control panel, and communicates with the BMS to operates accordingly.
6. Client Centric Solutions: We work closely with our clients to provide tailor made sustainability strategies, ensuring that each project aligns with the clients environmental goals, leaving a legacy.

To mitigate our carbon emissions, we’ve supported initiatives like planting 1000 trees at The Forest of Marston Vale in Bedfordshire, creating a natural local community resource.
